#14 Georgia Tech vs #8 Notre Dame

Notre Dame’s chances of a National Championship run could have ended this past week at Virginia. With QB Malik Zaire suffering a foot injury that will sideline him for the rest of the season. Notre Dame offence stuggles on offense verses Virginia are a sign for things to come. Back up QB DeShone Kizer’s with late touchdown pass to Fuller was the difference maker for the Irish to pull out a 34-27 victory in Charlottesville. This week they will face off against  #14 ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, a team that averages 67 points and 457.5 yards on the ground per game. This game will be a battle of strengths between Georgia Tech’s offence and Notre Dame defense. Look for Georgia Tech to sustain long drives and keep Notre Dame Offense off the Field.

#18 Auburn vs #13 LSU

Last week FCS Jacksonville State almost defeated Auburn in Auburn. Now the Tigers travel to Death Valley to face the Tigers of LSU. Auburn has turnover problems and that will continue this week. Look for LSU running game to capitalized on Auburn mistakes and will easily.

My Pick #18 Auburn 17 #13 LSU 28

The Streak Ends!!

Florida @ Kentucky

For the last 28 years, the Kentucky Wildcats have had no luck against the Florida Gators. This year the Florida Gators have a new Head Coach in Jim McElwain who brought his up tempo offense from Colorado State.  Kentucky  won at South Carolina for the first time in ten years as Head Coach Mark Stoops has built the Wildcats into a defensive minded team. Look for Wildcats to limit the big plays and cause turnovers. Something that has killed Kentucky in the past. This game will be a low scoring game with Kentucky, Yes Kentucky pulling off the upset and ending the Streak.

#15 Ole Miss vs #2 Alabama

Everyone from the media wants you to believe that Ole Miss had a chance to pull off the upset here. In the words of Lee Corso, “Not so fast my friend.” Alabama is still in payback mode from last year’s playoff exit and last season’s lost to these Rebels. Alabama will run the ball until the ball runs out of PSI “no pun attended”. Ole Miss has shown that they can score a bunch of points but comparing UT Martin, Fresno State to Alabama. Is like comparing the Jacksonville Sharks (Arena Football team) to the New England Patriots. Ole Miss will face their strongest defense of the season thus far and I will be surprised if they score more than 21 points. Alabama at this moment is just the better team. Now, if this game was in Ole Miss, then I will 2nd guess this but it is in Bryant-Denny Stadium and Bama rolls.

Sweet Home Alabama! Roll Tide Roll!
