What are we doing as a Nation Under God? (commentary)

THIS COUNTRY IS IN TROUBLE

During war, the US Military will send our soldiers into harms way, knowing that one, ten, a hundred, a thousand, will die without question, in a battle. It is not a matter of death for the soldier, it is most times a given.

The men that rushed the ant hill in World War One, those doughboys from Elmira, Provo, Atlanta, Madison, and Selma, all felt that their lives were over once the German machine guns opened up on them.

Our men that sunk in the sand of Iwo Jima as their blood flowed out of the gaping wounds inflicted upon them by the Imperial Japanese that held that island, knew that it would be curtains as of the fatal attack on that shit hole.

These are just two examples of our Americans giving it up for the good of the country.

Today, we are in just a serious situation with regard to the virus. We are in the process of wrecking the American economy and the ruination of lives through unemployment, a greater expanding Federal debt, and the removal of the rights of the American citizen as guaranteed by our Constitution under God.

Maybe it is time for our leaders ask ALL AMERICANS to step up and if necessary, give their lives for the continuation of OUR way of life here in the 50 UNITED STATES.

Could it come to the conclusion somewhere in the near future that we get back to living our American life as is in the past and let the chips fall where they may? Or is the destruction of our way of life the price we pay for a sickness that was brought to us from a foreign power that wants to overtake us as the greatest and most successful nation the world has ever known?

The great (sic) Schumer of our US Senate says put “workers first”. I say go back to the normal, stop with the orders, give the American public the responsibility to do right, and get back to work. I say PUT AMERICAN FIRST OR AMERICA IS DONE.

Are you a “worker” or an American. What comes first?

I am 67. I have medical complications. Bad ones. If I get the virus I will struggle with living. I know my limitations. If I stay inside, with God’s help I should make it through this. Yet, if I get out and mingle with others, I put myself at risk as of my own actions. If I was a young man and was not with medical issues, and I went back to work and I did get the virus and died, what of it?   I would say I gave my life to keep this country going. I would not ask for a bed in a hospital. I would take it as I fear not death, but the fires that might consume me if I end up in the wrong eternity. That is I on me.

The point? Time for ALL Americans to take one for the country if needed. Our military does, how about our average citizens. Do we care about ourselves more than life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Only you can answer that question.
