OKC Thunder loss to 76ers proves point……

The Oklahoma City Thunder lost a rather close and extremely hard fought NBA game this evening to the Philadelphia 76ers on the road.  The loss broke a winning streak for OKC and a losing streak for their Eastern Conference foe.  Yet, the significance of the game should be that even in a loss, this team on Reno Street always plays hard, has some excellent talent, and most importantly, plays together with fidelity toward the game itself.  The league voices seemed to have missed something before the season started, saying this Thunder team would not be viable and a possible tanking of the year might be the best course for the franchise in 2019-20.  With all the negatives, OKC has proved these voices wrong and the other teams in the league now know that any game with Big Blue will be a contested fight to the finish.

Thunder fans, this is going to be one of the great seasons for the OKC Thunder, wins and losses besides the point.
