Last week the ACC had a good outing verses non-conference foes in week 1. Florida State and Clemson won their big SEC matchups. While Virginia falls flat on their face verses FCS Richmond. Overall the ACC did very well going 10-2 in non-conference which is 2nd among Power Five conferences so far this season. Let see how the ACC dose in Week 2 of College Football.
My record on ACC picks. (12-1) only lost was that Virginia games. Thanks Virginia!

#13 Louisville (1-0) (-12) @ Syracuse (1-0)
Last week Lamar Jackson of Louisville introduce himself to the nation. Yea I know, they played UNC Charlotte but this kid has skills. The Cards were never challenged and cruised to an easy victory. On Friday night, the Cards head up to the No-AC Carrier Dome in Syracuse. Where the Orange had a good showing verse Colgate. Louisville in a much bigger test and Syracuse is at best a five win team this season. Look for Syracuse to come out strong early but fall late as Louisville defense will be too much to handle.
Rating: 2
My Pick: Louisville 34 Syracuse 20
Mercer (0-1) @ Georgia Tech (1-0, 1-0) (No line)
Tech is coming back from a come from behind win over Boston College in Ireland. Really can’t say much about this game but one thing. A lot of points for GT!
Rating: 0
My Pick: Georgia Tech 42 Mercer 9
Charleston Southern (1-1) @ #3 Florida State (1-0) (No line)
With news that 14 players will be out due to NCAA problems for the Bucs. This game has no chance of being an upset. Even if the Bucs will full strength, they don’t have a chance. Now with those players missing the game only means one thing. FSU will see a lot of younger players getting playing time in which is never bad. Florida State has a chance to make this game a record setting game if those 14 players for Southern are starters. Anyways, the Noles reopen a new look Doak Campbell with a new scoreboard and Club seating. No way the Noles lose this one.

My Pick: Florida State 72 Charleston Southern 13
Troy (1-0) @ #2 Clemson (1-0) (-34)
Watson returns home to Death Valley to take on the Men of Troy. One thing that many people don’t know is that Troy is a hard out. They came close to upsetting SEC and ACC teams before. So I think Dabo and the Tigers should be ready. Really can’t say any more about this one but “Good Luck Troy” Clemson wins but fails to cover!

My Pick: Clemson 49 Troy 17
Wake Forest (1-0) @ Duke (1-0) (-8)
If you watched anything from last week in the ACC. You know dang well that Wake Forest has a problem! The problem is scoring points. Last week, Wake had 175 yards of total offence and scored on the opening drive. This week Wake faces off against an ACC foe in Duke that can score some points. Last week the Blue Devils made easy work on UNCC to prepare for this one. Duke is Bowl bound this season but Wake is far from it. Duke wins and cover.
Rating: 0
My Pick: Duke 28 Wake 14
North Carolina State (1-0) (-3) @ East Carolina (1-0)
North Carolina State as a road favorite is scary. East Carolina has feast on ACC teams these past few season and I don’t think it will stop this week. I am not sold of the Wolfpack as a 3 point favorites on the Road. I will stay away of this game if I was in your shoes. I will take East Carolina straight up.
Rating: 1
My Pick: East Carolina 24 NC STATE 21
Boston College (0-1) (-15) @ UMass (0-1)
Boston College had a hard fought lost to Georgia Tech to start the season. While UMass was deep into the 4th quarter before the Gators pulled away to victory. If you like low scoring? This is the game for you. Boston College is 15 point favorites over UMass but I will take BC in this game but not to cover.

My Pick: Boston College 21 UMass 13
FAU (0-1) @ #25 Miami (1-0) (-23)
Ok Miami! You did beat FAMU last week, but your Twitter handle thinks you played Alabama! Kind of went little too far Miami to start the season. You are not back Miami! Beating FAMU, and even this week FAU means nothing about your Swag of Miami. Yes, you’re ranked for the first time since 2013. So just keep winning, then you might actually be back.
Rating: 0
My Pick: Miami 34 FAU 17
Penn State (1-0) @ Pittsburgh (1-0) (-4)
For the first time in years. Lions and Panthers finally will clash in Pittsburgh. This should be one of the best games this week in the ACC so it could be worth watching. Pitt looked good verse Villanova last week and everyone should be rooting Pitt RB Conner as he fought cancer to get back to playing football. For that, I will pick Pitt to win and just cover.
Rating: 2
My Pick: Pittsburgh 20 Penn State 13
Virginia (0-1) @ #24 Oregon (1-0) (-24)
Ha Virginia! You have no chance! Oregon Rolls in this one!
Rating: 1
My Pick: Oregon 49 Virginia 7
North Carolina (0-1) (-7) @ Illinois (1-0)
The Tar Heels fought hard this past week in Atlanta. Even with the loss to Georgia, the Heals are still going to be a good team this year. I do see North Carolina rebounding in this one and pulling away late in the game. Take the Heals and the points.
Rating: 2
My Pick: North Carolina 34 Illinois 23
ACC Game of the Week
Virginia Tech (1-0) vs #19 Tennessee (1-0) (-9)
Seeing the Voles as a nine point favorite is kind of a joke. With this game being played in Bristol Tennessee. Which is halfway between both schools that travel very well. There will be over 100,000 plus fans in the stands to witness this great event. The Hookies will be fired up and I do believe that all Voles fans will be on edge of their seats at the end of this game. Unlike some people I will like to see the Voles lose but I don’t see it. This game will be close to the end with a Tennessee victory.
Rating: 3
My Pick: Tennessee 24 Virginia Tech 21
