Big 12 Week 2 Game Predictions

Oklahoma State 27 and Central Michigan 17 at Stillwater

West Virginia 30 and Youngstown State 12 at Morgantown

Kansas 28 and Ohio 20 at Lawrence

Baylor 59 and SMU 7 at Waco

TCU 36 and Arkansas 35 at Fort Worth

Texas 45 and UTEP 10 at Austin

Oklahoma 52 and Univ. of La. Monroe 13 at Norman

Iowa 31 and Iowa State 17 at Iowa City

Texas Tech 58 and Arizona State 49 in Tempe

Week Two gives us two games of interest in the league  In Tempe with Tech and Arizona State going at it we should be a high scoring affair with both defenses trying to get stops. Pat Mahomes II is the difference.  I like TCU to beat Arkansas in the other key game.  The Frogs need to shore up the defense or Arkansas will make it a close one.  If given the choice, I would be in Fort Worth as two former Southwest Conference rivals get it on.

Last Week I was 7-2.  I missed on OU and Texas.

National Picks:
Look for Ohio State and Tulsa to be a much closer game that most expect.  Buckeyes prevail in a close one 45 to 38.

Penn State on the road at Pittsburgh will has the makings of a good one.  I like Pitt close 24 to 21.

Kentucky travels to Gainesville and will get drubbed with defense.  Florida 20 Kentucky 9.

Virginia Tech and Tennessee in the NASCAR venue and I like the Vols 26 and the Hokies 13.

Virginia goes to Eugene and Oregon wins 44 to 21.

South Carolina goes to Mississippi State in a game of little importance.  Gamecocks win 21-20.

Wyoming travels to Lincoln and the Nebraska Cornhuskers win 35-7.

Wake Forest travels to Duke and this in-state rival game goes to Duke 29-24.
