All Schools in the Big 12 will be tough to beat
ON ANY GIVEN SATURDAY…..
So much for favorites in the Big 12. Last Saturday Kansas State took the Oklahoma Sooners to the woodshed and gave the Big Red of the South a dog beating, 41-34. It was a seven point win for the Wildcats but for various reasons, the game was all K-State as they performed as the better team on that night in Norman. A bally-hewed OU defense was shredded by the previous impotent Wildcat offense. A couple of missed passes by Sooner quarterback Dillon Gabriel did not help. Kansas State was better on this night.
Texas Tech gave the University of Texas Longhorns a loss. Texas is not back, at least for another week. With that, Texas did lose on the road without their best freshman quarterback. They might be back again and not have to wait until next year with a win this week and in the Cotton Bowl in two. As for Texas Tech, they never gave up and the upside for the is looking up. Yes, I said that.
Baylor did hush the Cyclones in Ames and that puts the Bears up one on the conference with a tough road win. Another plus for the defending champions.

This weeks predictions in the Big 12
Oklahoma visits TCU and this one will be close. Being a home conference game for the Frogs, that makes it important for them not to go one down at home. I have TCU 38 and OU 37 as a missed field goal at the end is wide right for OU. Frogs are going to gouge the Sooner defense.
Oklahoma State and Baylor will get after it in Waco and if Poke quarterback Spencer Sanders has a game of his life the Bears will go down. If he pukes down his leg look for Baylor. I have Baylor winning in a rather defensive minded game 24-20.
Kansas State will follow up their stunner in Norman by beating the Red Raiders in Manhattan. Wildcats 39 and Texas Tech 24.
I like the Jayhawks to win another home game in the conference beating Iowa State 26 to 24.
Texas at Austin will pound West Virginia 41 to 27 in a home contest in DKR.
