$$$$$ for College Athletes

Athletes can accept endorsements from brands, monetize their social media presences and work with professional firms that coordinate these kinds of deals for athletes

Least we now forget, today’s college athlete is not of the amateur game.  They are, in any sport, “professional players” as of the fact they can “earn” money.  Some of these upper echelon men and women worship the all mighty dollar more than school pride. In other words, or another way to look at it, their actions on where they play and why they would transfer from school to school, it that they will take the path of least resistance that will up their odds for a profitable life for in their particular sport.   This money thing has had everything to do with athletes in the past, but now, in this day and age, rules have changed for the athlete make significant money while still at their college. Thus, they can make the dime while playing college sport, no waiting necessary.

College sports fans are having issues with the way these athletes can earn some dollars.   Plus some universities like the fans as they have not yet adjusted to the new ways of doing business with these athletes and the “boosters/sponsors of the said schools.  But as Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin spoke of the issue today, some schools are going to pay out millions to get the players they want, like his.  But not like schools such as USC, or other big money places.  And the college kids are going to profit with the new system, like it or not.
