The 6’8 point guard of the Oklahoma City Thunder made plays in a single game against one of the best defensive teams in the world Wednesday night on Reno Street in OKC that reminds me of a specific player of of basketball lore. Floppy hair, a distinctive personality on the court, a deft floor leader that is already one of the best passers in the NBA……I will stop there. Sure, Giddey is not the total package yet and is not a prolific scorer in the Association. But the skill package is evident and within time, say three years, you are looking at an NBA all-star that will not be a second fiddle to the highest paid star for the Thunder.
