Watching rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield of the Cleveland Browns pull his team out of the doldrums and lead them to their first win in over 630 days was a breath of fresh air for the NFL. Taking the Jets of New York by its tail, Baker brought an electricity to the game. The Heisman winner from the University of Oklahoma made all the throws and then some in his debut game, abet in relief of a concussed starter that was having no success in moving the ball through the balance of the first half.
Mayfield proved to his detractors that he will be a force in the league and Cleveland has found their on-field leader for the future. Baker Mayfield has what cannot be taught in a quarterback. He has leadership qualities with attitude. Nothing controversial here. That is the way I see it sports fans.

First, I appreciate you reading my blog. Second, I do not have an editor so mistakes happen. Third, I would find an editor but I do not write for dollars….no advertisements. Again, thank you.
You hit the nail on the head! He has the ability to make his fellow players “want it” as much as he does. The minute that he joined the game postures quickly changed on both sides of the ball.
