(7) Oregon (-3.5)   @ (5) Michigan State

The Oregon Ducks were tested by Eastern Washington last week and that will carry over to this week. Heisman contender Conner Cook could make a major statement in this game but the key to victory for Sparta is “Defense”. Look for this game to be close with Michigan State making the big stops in the 4th quarter.

   MSU  28   Oregon 17

(14) LSU (-4)  @  (25) Mississippi State

The Tigers  game was canceled last week due to inclement weather  while Mississippi State took care of C-USA Southern Miss. For the self proclaimed best division football. This game will start the season long elimination process of the pretenders. LSU has a strong running game with  Leonard Fournette and I do expect him to carry the load to a LSU victory.

    LSU  17  MSU 14

                 (20) Boise State @ BYU (-2.5)

This game is screaming Upset!  BYU pulled off a incredible upset defeating Nebraska on a hail marry last week in Lincoln.  Unfortunately for the Cougars, staring QB Taysom Hill will miss the rest of the season due to a foot injury, but that should not stop the Cougar offense.  Boise State has become the Non-Power 5 BCS/ New Year Six Bowl contender year in and year out. So this could be a game in which will change the landscape of Non-Power 5 teams.  I believe BYU will be playing hard for former QB Taysom Hill and pull off another upset with a late field goal.

  BSU 35  BYU  38

(19) Oklahoma @  (23) Tennessee (-1.5)

Butch Jones, head coach of Tennessee has slowly turned the Vols program around. To help his rebuilding process, he needs to have a huge win over the Sooners. Major media outlets down south are not giving the Sooners any chance in this game. Unfortunately SEC fans, I don’t see this game going well for you PRIDE. Sooners are going to have big plays in the running game that will lead them to victory.       Oklahoma 33  Tennessee 21

  1. I am a big follower of Fred’s work on ProSportsExtra. But I wasn’t fond to see his website copying his LLC “ProSportsExtra’s” name.

It was very rude and upsetting seeing this.

Get your own name, and own URL!

  2. Amanda,
Thank you for being a follower of my work at PSE. That is appreciated. As for “copying” the “ProSportsExtra” name I am sorry that you think it was rude and upsetting. It was not my intention to upset you or anyone else. As I bought my website from the vendor, and the name, the vendor put up various possible site names for my site and I settled on FREDSPORTEXTRA. FRED SPORT EXTRA……SPORT not SPORTS…..and EXTRA, as it is used on many named sites and such across the internet, in many newspapers, and TV/Media. As the vendor told me anything with .com that would not be allowed would come not usable. The site named Fredsportextra.com was approved as unique with it’s own URL. With that, I never thought that it would be disliked by anyone, including the owner of. PSE.

Since I don’t think you will visit and read my articles that are now unique to my site only, I wish you well.
