Former free agent and undrafted Lu Dort has signed a five year $87.5 million dollar extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder today in OKC. Dort’s signing was reported by the media and gives the former Arizona State player a big time raise. He was to make $1.9 million for 2022-2023.
A top defender in the Association, Dort averaged over 17 ppg in 2022. He is expected to be a major clog in the Thunder lineup with fellow teammates SGA, Josh Giddey, and newcomer rookie Chet Holmgrem. The rebuild continues on Reno Street and the fan favorite Dort will be a part of it for the future.
