“The eyes of Texas are upon you, All the live long day.

Texas Quarterback Sam Ehlinger stands after the game, horns up, as the Eyes of Texas is played. The saddest photo of the college football season of 2020. (Photo from Twitter-KXAN News @KXAN_News

Texas Longhorn football is history.  It was sad viewing Sam Ehlinger, a true Horn in every way, standing with a couple of other loyal Texas people, on the floor of the Cotton Bowl as the “Eyes of Texas” was being played, as of tradition for UT sports after any contest.  The rest of the WOKE players were gone, into the locker room.  Coach Herman stood with Sam.  Texas football is history. Did Coach Herman understand that he recruited a team full of assholes that were going to be disrespectful toward the school, the program, the State of Texas?  “The eyes of Texas are upon you,  All the live long day.”

OU and Texas played and the Sooners won.  Both teams played hard and both teams are not good football teams.  Look for Tom Herman to be ousted in Austin very soon.  Sam Ehlinger is a hell of a college player. I would take him on my team.  Spencer Rattler is a hell of a football player too.  He will win the Heisman Trophy one day if the Sooners improve in the next couple of years.

Big Twelve Rankings

  1.  Oklahoma State
  2.  Kansas State
  3.  Iowa State
  4.  Baylor
  5.  TCU
  6.  Oklahoma
  7.  Texas
  8.  West Virginia
  9.  Texas Tech
  10.  Kansas

This week there will be one game in the Big Twelve. Kansas goes to West Virginia.  Hillbillies rout the Hawks, 49 to 14.

My “National Rankings” will take a week off.  The state of the game is so discombobulated with many teams not as yet playing it is just a mess.  I will say that Clemson is the best team in the country right now.

Georgia and Alabama is the game and with Coach Saban at home with the virus I think the boys from Bama will beat the Dogs in a great game.  I will view this one. Tide 39 and Georgia 38.
