LSU looking toward Okla. State’s Mike Gundy and it is serious

Jimbo Fisher might be the favorite choice of the LSU athletic department and the higher ups in the university’s leadership, but  I would not put my bets with the notion that the Florida State head coach goes to Baton Rouge.   If I was a gambler, my money is on Mike Gundy to get the job at the Southeastern Conference school.  The Oklahoma State head coach would be a big hit in the Bayou swamp with his high powered offense and add that with the great defense that LSU continues to put on the field year in and year out, this Tiger program would be in the hunt to take the SEC away from Alabama.  And for LSU fans, if you are not high on Gundy becoming your head coach you might just forget about it and go buy another fugazi.

For all those in Oklahoma that think that LSU would not seriously consider the all-time winning coach in Stillwater you are fooling yourself and double that if you think Gundy would not take the job if offered.  LSU is not only a top job in the country, it is a place that with the right man at the head in this college football world, could and would be a top program on the same level with the Ohio State’s and Alabama’s.  That is, a team with the fire power to dethrone the Crimson Tide not just once in a while but on a regular basis.  Winning football is cyclical and it could be LSU’s time at the top of the SEC and not the second fiddle.  It was a damn shame how former coach Les Miles would not build a offense with a crap. His starting quarterback was not as good as the forth string signal caller at Oklahoma State.  Totally disgusting Les.

Look for Gundy to be the head coach at LSU by the bowl season if Jimbo Fisher turns the Tigers down.  That is my opinion sports fans.

(Did you notice I did not mention the Gundy/Pickens relationship or the following Les Miles again historical perspective?)  Until now.
