One of the big four of the Golden State Warriors of the NBA was arrested in his college town of East Lansing, Michigan.  No details have been released by the East Lansing police department.  Green, along with Stephan Curry, Klay Thompson, and the newly acquired Kevin Durant (from the Oklahoma City Thunder) make up the powerful Golden State Warriors star studded starting line-up.

“The police department is not confirming any arrest with that name,” said Lt. Scott Wrigglesworth, the East Lansing police department Public Information Officer. “What I can confirm is that we did arrest a current NBA basketball player this weekend and he was arrested for assault. That’s all we’re confirming right now.”

Green has ten days to turn himself in for arrangement.  He left Michigan State University (which is in East Lansing) in 2012 to play in the Association.
