OU 34 UT 30

As I filter through the years of my life, I have always had a saying, starting at an early age as a little kid from Oklahoma City that when OU beat Texas, IT WILL BE A GOOD YEAR.  Today, I can say it.  IT WILL BE A GOOD YEAR.  I am so happy, I could cry.  Yes, a seventy-year-old man saying he could cry over a football game is, in my world, very unusual and probably a little sick on my part.  But growing up with a distaste of the University of Texas as of the losing of my Sooners in the late 1950’s and most of the 196o’s I was living those years in a sports world hell that friend my brain.  So be it.

Thank you, God, for giving me another Sooner victory over the Texas Longhorns.  After last year’s game and total beat down of the team from Norman, I needed this today.  A last minute come from behind victory in the Cotton Bowl, 34-30, makes my year with football in mind.

I will report on the game later in the week when I get my crap together, but for this posting, I will share some of the great photos (with credits, if any) and some of the best visuals of the game as I do this blog.  Sure, I am weird, and a little off. So what.
