Sooners face a very good Iowa State defense; Weekly predictions and ranking…….

At four wins and three defeats, the Oklahoma Sooners face one team that has been hard on them recently, and a loss in Ames, Iowa Saturday would deal them a devastating blow for this season. Iowa State, currently on the bottom of the Big 12, has a chance to get wrongs righted, as does OU, as both team need this game on the victory side.  Iowa State has a very hard hitting defense and OU has an explosive offense going into the 11:00 an rooster kickoff.  Can the Sooners shut down the Cyclones and get them to turn it over.  Can ISU put some significant points on the scoreboard and pull out a win?  I have OU winning in a rather close game 34 to 31.  This game will be a season breaker for the loser.

Oklahoma State goes into Wildcat country at 2:30 PM and the winner will get their sites on the Big 12 Championship game.  If the Cowboys show some defense early they might pull it out.  But that might be tough if Adrian Martinez plays for KSU.  Look for the Wildcats to pull out a win 30 to 27.

Texas Tech hosts Baylor and I like the Red Raiders by ten.  Tech 38 and Baylor 28
