UPDATE:  APRIL 23, 2021  (THUNDER CONTINUE TO LOSE SINCE THIS WAS WRITTEN ON APRIL 7TH….NINE MORE LOSES WITH 13 GAMES TO GO)

The Oklahoma City Thunder, currently with 20 wins and 30 loses in their 50 games played, could end the season with that 20 wins to go along with 52 loses.  Yes, the Thunder might be fresh out of victories for this 2020-2021 season in the Association.

Take a quick look at what the Thunder will trot out on the Chesapeake floor for tonight’s game and realize that this Sam Presti managed franchise is pulling off one big old time NBA tank job and nobody in town, including the media, the fans, nor the players, will take a truthful look at the shenanigans taking place on Reno Street.

From my perspective, do not look for the best players on the roster to see court time in the remaining 22 games.  Darius Basley, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Al Horford,  and Mike Muscala are all on long term injuries, are “old”, or are being rested for the season. Luguentz Dort has a concussion that is recurring and he is subject to being out indefinitely.

Just for tonight’s game add Kendrick Williams and Isaiah Roby that will not play.  Get the picture folks?  There is a reason that the Thunder has not been able to get to the 2nd 12 minutes of the past three games without being blown out.  This current team is in total tank and you can forget about winning….you can also think about any close games too. But with a 20 win season the Thunder have a better chance to improve their ping pong ball standing for the next draft.
