Maybe the Oklahoma City Thunder has found the right recipe for winning with Russell Westbrook and Paul George as the super-stars they are.  With winning eleven out of their last thirteen games (after a zero and four start of the season), OKC has found that a under-control Russell Westbrook can make a difference in both his productivity and team success.  A blowout win over a depleted (but still good) Golden State Warriors squad on Wednesday was significant, even if the team still has issues with ball-movement and “too much Russell” at times.  Westbrook got his first triple double this year against the Warriors.  Injuries seem to not bother the  Thunder in winning as they are suffering a rash of players going down, yet excellent play by those that are “next man up” are not allowing this team to falter.

The Thunder will win more than they lose, and for the first time in a couple years since the departure of Kevin Durant, this team seems to understand that Russell Westbrook can direct the action on the court and not “be” the action.  OKC plays two home games in succession, tonight against the Charlotte Hornets and on Saturday evening against the Denver Nuggets.  A couple of more wins is expected.   That is the way I see it sports fans.
