Time for OKLAHOMA STATE to move on from Mike Boynton……

LOSING BASKETBALL AFTER SIX YEARS NOT GOOD

Now, or in a couple of weeks (OSU saves about one million dollars on a buyout if they wait), the powers to be at Oklahoma State University need to cut ties with current head men’s basketball coach Mike Boynton.  Coach Boynton has a win/loss record of 119-109 and 51-75 in Big 12 conference play after six seasons in Stillwater.  His Cowboys have finished as high as 5th in the conference and has made one NCAA tournament.  He has been the head coach since March 2017. His annual salary is $3,000,000.

A personal opinion, the athletic director needs to find a top up-and-coming coach that has proven that he can win, recruit, and keep HIS players.  Time will tell where this program goes.  Right now, it is in the cellar.
