Chet or Victor?  A long road ahead for both?  Or not.

The sample size is as small as it can get.  Here is my take on the number one draft pick from the last NBA draft just a couple of weeks ago.

“Victor Wembanyama IS NOT READY TO BE A FORCE IN THE ASSOCIATION AND SAN ANTONIO IS GOING TO HAVE A RATHER LONG WAIT FOR HIM TO DEVELOP INTO THE PLAYER THAT THEY THOUGHT HE WAS ON DRAFT NIGHT.

On the other hand, Chet Holmgren, the number two draft pick of the 2022 draft is going to make a tremendous impact for the Oklahoma City Thunder day one of the 2023-24 season after missing all of last year as of an injury.”  FP

Both are talented and both are highly regarded to be top level players in the NBA in their careers.  The ability of each is not in question.  The time it takes for the development of each is.  With influences of team coaching, the players that will surround them, injuries, time management, and finally inner desire to be the best they can be, each could reach their potential in a few years or quite possibly longer.  Both have to work on strength as it is going to be a brutal future for both as of the toughness of the league and the opponents they will go up against.  Good luck to both.

That is how I see it sports fans.
