I was able to purchase a brand spanking new Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray this past week from a local Chevy franchise (OKC) at MSRP.\u00a0 That in itself is amazing as this car is sold by a majority of dealerships across the country for as much as ten, fifteen, and twenty thousand dollars more than that magical MSRP in today’s new car market.\u00a0 The wait was about a year and one half and that includes the six months that was on the docket once the order was placed for the build.<\/p>\n

I did not buy the car as a quick turn-around investment as many buyers to, as the car could have been put on a truck, sent south to Texas, which a national used car Corvette concern would have taken the car off my hands for a profit of at least 15 grand for me personally.\u00a0 The auto and truck business is hot today, with sales of new and used are bringing much the better prices for the seller.\u00a0 So in fact, my purchase, in a backhanded way, was in fact an investment for the future.\u00a0 The US dollars sitting in banks, IRA’s, the stock market and even with such platforms as bitcoin, are iffy at best.\u00a0 Inflation can eat you up, but good owned are usually the best bet against losing your shirt with regard to wealth.<\/p>\n
