{"id":8499,"date":"2021-01-31T20:09:39","date_gmt":"2021-02-01T02:09:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fredsportsextra.com\/?p=8499"},"modified":"2021-01-31T20:30:11","modified_gmt":"2021-02-01T02:30:11","slug":"what-could-be-2024-womens-national-basketball-championship-game-cal-berkley-vs-oregon-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fredsportsextra.com\/?p=8499","title":{"rendered":"What could be:  2024 Women&#8217;s National Basketball Championship Game:  Cal (Berkley) vs Oregon University"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em><strong>WHAT VERY WELL COULD BE THE FUTURE OF WOMEN&#8217;S COLLEGE BASKETBALL<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">The two best women&#8217;s college basketball teams will meet in the title game tonight on in the floor of the Chase Center in San Francisco.\u00a0 Winning their Final Four semi-final games Saturday, the Bears and the Ducks will try to be the first women&#8217;s champion that will start five transgender athletes in this historic game.\u00a0 These two teams have met two times this year with Oregon winning the first meeting in Eugene and losing the re-match game in Berkley.\u00a0 The PAC Twelve did not have a conference tournament this year and both are co-champions of the PAC 12 for 2024.<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">With the rules change for transgender eligibility in 2021, both these teams took advantage and have packed their squads for the 2023-2024 season with the transgender athlete, each team has six players that were born male but now identify as female.\u00a0 This is allowing them to participate as women as of Federal law.
