{"id":8147,"date":"2020-08-21T15:46:07","date_gmt":"2020-08-21T20:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fredsportsextra.com\/?p=8147"},"modified":"2020-08-21T17:01:13","modified_gmt":"2020-08-21T22:01:13","slug":"nba-ratings-down-39-45-percent-wokeness-killing-the-viewership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fredsportsextra.com\/?p=8147","title":{"rendered":"NBA Ratings down 39-45 percent; &#8220;Wokeness&#8221; killing the viewership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NBA Ratings Down 45% - Fans Are Rejecting SJW Politics\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zsEu4p4FXvA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The NBA is suffering a tremendous playoff ratings decline as viewership of the &#8220;Bubble&#8221; games are down 39 percent.\u00a0 Could the \u201cSilent Majority\u201d be the reason?\u00a0 I am sure it is part of it. \u00a0 &#8220;No Thanks&#8221; is the resounding response by the UN-woke viewing public as they have not been turning out to watch the games, dropping the ratings in the toilet. \u00a0 Make no mistake, the NBA is not happy and the big mouths of Lebron James, the Black Lives Matter folks, the writing on the court, and the continuous references to racial injustice through the games, both on the national televised level and the individual market presentations, have turned off a great number of fans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The question remains.
