You can have your LeBron James who happens to be\u00a0 the best basketball player on the earth.\u00a0 Add the NBA commissioner Adam Silver to the list.\u00a0 And do not forget your personal favorite, be it a player, coach, Hall-of-Famer, or owner.\u00a0 My money goes with Chris Paul, the current NBA’s Player’s\u00a0 president and future Hall member that is a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.\u00a0 \u00a0 Chris Paul is the most important person in professional basketball today.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

For what it is worth, that label, most important,\u00a0 will stand for many years to come as Paul ascends as a future coach in the Association.\u00a0 Or he might be inclined to have a career as a general manager of a team. The idea that Paul will be the commissioner of the NBA is a strong possibility later on.\u00a0 He is on track for that job if pursued.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

Without Chris Paul and his leadership, today’s NBA “Bubble Season\/playoffs” would not be happening.\u00a0 \u00a0That fact is not arguable, and to deny it is just plum silly.\u00a0 He managed the player side of deal with the league office.\u00a0 He was the most significant man in bringing the league to\u00a0 this end to the season.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

Paul is the future leadership of the league if he wants.\u00a0 \u00a0Paul has it all.\u00a0 He can play the political game, has the respect of both personnel (players)_ and management.\u00a0 Some say he will by-pass the League and be a presidential hopeful sometime down the road.\u00a0 That too is possible.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n
