There will be many disappointed Sooner fans at the end of Sunday\u2019s OU\/Houston game.\u00a0 The Sooners will give up close to 500 yards and forty points in a win on Owen Field. \u00a0\u00a0 Alex Grinch\u2019s defense will be exposed as of D\u2019Eriq King, Houston\u2019s version of Kyler Murray.\u00a0 This guy will run and pass with total efficiency Sunday. \u00a0 OU\u2019s Jalen Hurts will show us something that he did not at Alabama.\u00a0 That is, he is an excellent \u201cthrowing\u201d quarterback.\u00a0 As great as the Bama program is, they do not develop the quarterbacks like what Lincoln Riley does at OU. The Big Red\u2019s passing game will be sharp and along with the returning stars such as CeeDee Lamb and Grant Calcaterria, the new freshmen wideouts will be impressive catching Hurt\u2019s pitches.\u00a0 OU wins somewhere around 60 to 40.\u00a0 And remember, as good as the Sooner offense is, Houston has a pretty good offensive coach too with Dana Holgorsen.\u00a0 The game will give the fans and a national audience a exquisite taste of high scoring football.<\/span><\/h6>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Expect for Oklahoma\u2019s game with Houston, the rest of the Big Twelve teams play crapper teams this week.\u00a0 Expect all to win and the blowouts should be many.\u00a0 And yes, even Northern Iowa at Iowa State should be a blowout for the Cyclones (if they are any good prove it ISU).\u201d<\/span><\/h6>\n

LUCK\u2019s Heart is not in it (Football)<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

Now to Andrew Luck and his retirement.\u00a0 Ok, I understand when a person wants to retire it is his decision. So be it.\u00a0 Luck had this \u201cquitting\u201d in mind for some time and to be fair to the Colts, he should have told them that his heart was not in it a lot earlier.\u00a0 Yes, he is hurt and his body is broken. But the fact that he does not want to play right now. That is what it is all about. He is tired of rehab and just wanted to stop playing.\u00a0 In a year or two, I suspect he will get the itch and want to unretire. Just watch and see.\u00a0 Luck is a thinker and he might think he wants to continue with a football career.\u00a0 If well, he is still a great talent on the gridiron. \u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n

Come on OKC Thunder, Let us meet the new guys!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

OKC has not done a good job in introducing the new players for the Thunder for 2019.\u00a0 I guess we will have to wait for the pre-season camp to actually get to know these guys. Maybe Sam Presti and the franchise are waiting to see which players will actually be with the team for 2019-20.\u00a0 My feeling is that if the Thunder keep Chris Paul and Danilo Gallinari this team will be better than most think.\u00a0 I was not impressed with OKC effort last year with the two super-stars. OKC should have been better. And if Coach Billy Donovan starts this year off with a significant losing streak, I expect this will be his last season with the team. As of money, Presti will let him finish the year in my opinion.<\/span><\/h6>\n

Pokes have problems at quarterback<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

I do not like the fact that OSU coach Mike Gundy cannot find a first string staring quarterback.\u00a0 This position could be a problem in 2019 if neither freshman redshirt Spencer Sanders or Hawaii-transfer Dru Brown take control.\u00a0 I believe in the old saying that if you have two quarterbacks you have no quarterbacks.\u00a0 The schedule is in the favor for OSU and do not expect any trouble with the first few foes. But come Texas in a short time, the Horns will rip the Pokes another one if they have not found the man for 2019.\u00a0 This could be a long year is Stillwater.<\/span><\/h6>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kliff Kingsbury will not be Arizona\u2019s coach for long<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Do not expect Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury to be in that position for more than a year.\u00a0 The Cardinals are going to be one of the crapper teams of the league this year. I feel for Kyler Murray. His goal is to get through the year without suffering a severe injury or concussion.\u00a0 Arizona is bad, bad, and bad.<\/span><\/h6>\n
