If you are a Dallas Cowboy<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>fan you might want to stop reading here.\u00a0 This article\u00a0is not flattering to the Cowboys, the head coach Jason Garrett, and the owner Jerry Jones.<\/h6>\n

 <\/p>\n

The fact of the matter is that the Dallas Cowboys have a backstabbing owner to go along with\u00a0a head coach and coaching staff\u00a0that will never\u00a0 bring the team to an NFC championship, let alone a Super Bowl appearance and NFL title.\u00a0 Dallas is just a mess of an organization and has been for a decade or more<\/em><\/span>.<\/h6>\n

 <\/p>\n

Words of discouragement from an owner can take down a player and this is just what Jerry Jones did in his negative remark about his starting quarterback this past Sunday in Brandon Weeden.\u00a0 This after Weeden took the Cowboys 91 yards in the waning minutes to put Dallas\u00a0in a tie with New Orleans. The drive should have been a positive for Weeden and the\u00a0Cowboy offense.\u00a0 But\u00a0for a poor defensive stand that allowed the Saints to march down the field to try a last second field goal (that failed) followed by a long touchdown pass by Drew Brees in OT that was poorly defended by a lame Dallas defense, Dallas lost.<\/h6>\n

Now comes\u00a0the owner saying Weeden<\/span> is limited on what he can<\/em> do<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span> Nice Jones.\u00a0The NFL viewing public are not dummies.\u00a0What good does a\u00a0remark like that do to help the cause?\u00a0 Tearing down\u00a0a player is going to help the team? Maybe you need to look in the mirror and see that you are “limited” in your running of the Cowboys.\u00a0 Do you think Mr. Jones that there are\u00a0thousands of Cowboy fans that dislike you more than the quarterback you run down? Loyalty in the ownership’s office is lacking. People notice.\u00a0 People understand what kind of person, leader, owner you are Mr. Jones.\u00a0 And it is not flattering.\u00a0 It’s backstabbing.<\/h6>\n

\u201cI thought he did real good,\u201d owner Jerry Jones said. \u201cHe did good all night long. He took his initial look and threw it. He does some real good things, though it\u2019s not quite apples and oranges when the guy on the other side of the deal is Brees and you\u2019re dealing with a guy who is as<\/span> limited as Weeden<\/span><\/em>. We got in it even running out of time, or short-handed, in 2-minute or what have you, then these quarterbacks like Brees make a difference.\u201d<\/h6>\n

Jason Garrett calls the plays for Dallas.\u00a0 Put your quarterback in long 3rd down situations because you try to run the ball all night on 1st down when you can’t get a fricken yard or two shows a “limited” coaching staff.\u00a0 Lets get it right.\u00a0 Dallas is a loser<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 And it will continue to be a loser until they get an owner that has the mental means to run a team and hire a coach that has a clue.\u00a0 Don’t look for Dallas to win a title soon with what they have in the owner’s box and on the sideline.\u00a0 Just don’t.<\/h6>\n

In sport, disparaging remarks by someone that is suppose to be watching your back is a game changer.\u00a0 I wonder what Weeden is thinking today?\u00a0 What about the offense when they go into next week with a “limited” quarterback?\u00a0 How about a limited coaching staff and owner?\u00a0 Seriously.<\/h6>\n
