He is also glad that the now Golden State star will be in OKC tonight for the ceremony.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Collison is happy his former teammate will attend his ceremony, regardless of the bad blood between him and the OKC crowd.\u00a0 Many Thunder fans have a bone to pick for Durant leaving the franchise as a free agent in 2016. My bone is now bare without meat.\u00a0 As Collison says:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<blockquote>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u201cI thought it was great. I played a long time with Kevin, and he\u2019s a special, special teammate\u2026\u2026.It wasn\u2019t just because he is a great player, but he\u2019s one of the guys I played with the longest. All that stuff about OKC and building the team, he was for most of that too. I thought that was really cool that he was going to come. It\u2019s not easy to do logistically in the middle of the season, and I know it\u2019s not easy for him to do with all the stuff that\u2019s around him with coming back. But I thought it was great. I\u2019ve texted with him a couple times, and I\u2019ll be happy to see him.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>With those words, Durant is good with me, finally.\u00a0 It was pointed out earlier in the week that the relationship between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant was a major reason for Kevin leaving OKC a couple of years ago. I now get it. Russell can be difficult to play with. Even with issues of manhood I might have with Durant, my feeling is that yes, a man needs to be happy in his profession and Kevin was not all that happy as a Thunder and was needing a change.\u00a0 So
