In National Semi-final number one in the Cotton Bowl, I have the Fighting Irish defeating the Clemson Tigers in an exciting tussle, 24-23.\u00a0 Notre Dame is due for a big time win and Clemson is due to get beat.\u00a0 Look for the Irish defense to make the difference in this one.<\/h5>\n

The Oklahoma Sooners have a problem with Alabama in the second National Semi- Final in the Orange Bowl in south Florida.\u00a0 With a great offense but a terrible defense, OU cannot miss opportunities to score touchdowns.\u00a0 Field goals and getting stuffed by the Crimson Tide defense on any possession would be disastrous for OU.\u00a0The Sooners might need to score\u00a0on every\u00a0possession. \u00a0On the other hand, Alabama has a great offense too, and I expect some huge numbers for them to stack up on OU’s defense.\u00a0 One play drives of over 50 yards are going to happen.\u00a0 As much as the Sooners have come up with some stunning big plays on defense, for Alabama to give up those plays\u00a0to the OU’s defense\u00a0in this game would be out of character for them.\u00a0 Kyler Murray will put up yardage in this one, but not enough to give OU the win.\u00a0 As I have mentioned before, OU could pull out the upset, but do not bet the house on it.\u00a0 OU is not as well rounded a team than Alabama this year.<\/h5>\n
