Friday night the Big Twelve shootout happens when the Oklahoma Sooners travel to Morgantown to test the West Virginia Mountaineers. Most all expect a high scoring affair as OU brings into the game the best player in the country in Kyler Murray and a fantastic offense\u00a0while West Virginia’s potent offense headed by Will Grier and\u00a0crew\u00a0get to play host to the awful defense of the Sooners.\u00a0 Two things to think about. One, the weather. It will be a very cold night, and that could help the team that keeps turnovers down and can run the ball (if it is wet). Both teams will have much success on the ground but with the Sooners down to one running back and Murray, that would be a concern.\u00a0 As for West Virginia, expect great yardage and gapping wholes in a Sooner line that might be without Neville Gallimore, it’s best defensive lineman.\u00a0 Quick scoring early will set the tone and the team that gets hot might run the other off the field here.\u00a0 Yes Sooner fans, West Virginia could do just that.\u00a0 If turnovers are equal, this one might end with the team that does not punt and scores touchdowns and not field goals. Yes, anything could happen Friday in\u00a0Milan Puskar<\/span>.<\/h5>\n

Oklahoma State 34 at TCU 28-I like OSU here as they have more punch on offense that the Toads.\u00a0 OSU’s mental outlook should be good but TCU is playing for a bowl game which is a positive for them.\u00a0 Still, the Pokes have the better offensive stars and will get their points.<\/span><\/p>\n

Texas should beat Kansas in Lawrence but if the upset happens I would not be surprised.\u00a0 The last game for head coach\u00a0David Beatty will be emotional for KU and Texas will come into this one with a very swollen head.\u00a0 The Jayhawks are potent on offense.\u00a0 Final:\u00a0 Texas 34 at Kansas 21<\/span><\/p>\n
