This will go down as one of Steven Spielberg’s lessor works.\u00a0 There are reasons for this and a couple come to note.\u00a0 The acting, especially by Hanks and Streep, is just mediocre at best.\u00a0 Now do not get me wrong, a so so acting performance by these two is better than most others not at their level of abilities.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Not that you can find fault with either, the characters in this stolid film are not all that interesting on film.\u00a0The screenplay is\u00a0just not any good either.\u00a0 We have heard these words before.<\/h5>\n

This movie started out in the jungles of Viet Nam and once it\u00a0moves on\u00a0to Washington DC for the next hour or so, this flick suffered\u00a0 in interest.\u00a0 The final forty-five minutes\u00a0 as the principals bantered over publishing the story or not, saved the film somewhat.\u00a0 I did like those scenes.\u00a0 I say give it a view, and if you can stomach “old” news rehashed, you might like it.\u00a0 As I thought Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies” was one of his greatest films and the best of it’s year. “The Post” is, in many ways, a crapper.\u00a0 Do not have the flick.\u00a0 **\u00a0 (two Stars out of five)<\/h5>\n
