Kevin Durant led the Golden State Warriors to the 2017 NBA championship last night in the Bay area over a game Cleveland Cavs team.\u00a0 Good for the Warriors and good for Mr. Durant.\u00a0 The MVP of the series was all in for this five game set, giving the Warriors their 2nd title in three year.\u00a0 As for Durant, he can now go down as a champion.\u00a0 That is “champion” with a small “c”.\u00a0 I still have little respect for him as I do not favor ring chasers in the fashion of this player.\u00a0 But take noting away from the 2nd best player on the face of the earth.\u00a0 He was the man…..sorry….boy.\u00a0\u00a0 \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Bob Stoops has retired after eighteen seasons as the head coach for the Oklahoma Football team.\u00a0 Have a great life Mr. Stoops.\u00a0 You have the money to do what you want and enjoy the less hectic pace of being a big time head coach.\u00a0 You were magnificent as the Sooner leader these past years.<\/p>\n

As for Bob’s replacement, Lincoln Riley has plenty to lean on in this first season for Oklahoma.\u00a0 Loaded for bear, Riley’s Sooners should be just fine as the program is in great shape and with Riley’s recruiting skills, a veteran coaching staff, and some of the best players in the college game today, OU’s run for a National Championship in Riley’s initial year is set.\u00a0 Ohio State is the key game and with a new coach, that can be a positive.\u00a0 Riley has all the initiative he needs to go for broke against the Bucks and a loss is not all that season ending.\u00a0 The pressure will not be on Riley in that game.<\/p>\n

Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State made it official today as it was announced that the Poke coach will earn $4.2 million a year on his extended contract.\u00a0 An excellent move by the Aggies, and puts the program in good shape for the next five seasons in Stillwater.<\/p>\n
