I used the word \u201cdespicable\u201d in my headline tonight, describing LaVar Bar, the father of UCLA\u2019s Lonzo Ball, a top draft choice for the upcoming NBA draft.\u00a0 I used that word as I figured that if I used other descriptive words, such as axxhole, SOB, Mf\u2019r, and turdbird, many of the places where my blog is displayed might decide that what I posted might not be appropriate.\u00a0 But in the balance of this\u00a0article, the Ball\u00a0father is all of those listed above and is pushing the limits of acceptability with regard to the NBA for his son.\u00a0 To threaten a member of the media is never appropriate and when\u00a0he did so today with Fox One\u2019s Kristine Leahy, that is a line crossed.\u00a0 You can read the threat at<\/p>\n

LaVar Ball\u2019s Wednesday appearance on Fox Sports One\u2019s The Herd<\/em>crossed an uncomfortable line when he disrespected co-host Kristine Leahy<\/a> live on the air. After telling Leahy to \u201cstay in your lane\u201d and refusing to even look at her, Ball took it a step further and threatened Leahy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never disrespect women,\u201d Ball said. \u201cBut I\u2019ll tell you what, if you act like that, guess what? Something\u2019s coming to you, and it\u2019s okay.\u00a0 (MSN)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If the Los Angeles Lakers, or for that matter, any other franchise in the Association makes the choice to draft Lonzo Ball, that team will need to put the clamps down on this clown as he could cause an immediate incident with regard to his son, the team that selects him, and the league.\u00a0 As of today, the son has dodged his father\u2019s embarrassing presentations\u00a0, including his shoe business venture, and other negative media press that has been ongoing for the best part of a year.\u00a0 Looking for trouble General Manager \u201cMagic\u201d Johnson, look no further than LaVar Ball.\u00a0 You will get it. That is for sure sports fans.<\/p>\n
