{"id":393,"date":"2015-09-20T11:16:27","date_gmt":"2015-09-20T16:16:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fredsportsextra.com\/?p=393"},"modified":"2015-10-07T22:09:47","modified_gmt":"2015-10-08T03:09:47","slug":"big-12-review-of-week-3-sooners-defense-struggles-pokes-show-strong-potential-tech-becomes-a-player-with-win-over-hogs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fredsportsextra.com\/?p=393","title":{"rendered":"Big 12 Review of Week 3:  Sooner&#8217;s Defense Struggles; Pokes Show Strong Potential; Tech Becomes  a Player With Win Over Hogs"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Texas Tech<\/span> became a player Saturday in the Big 12 with their win in Fayetteville over the Razorbacks, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">OU<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #800080;\">TCU<\/span> seem to be in the same situation with <span style=\"color: #008000;\">Baylor<\/span> with their defensive problems, and <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Oklahoma State <\/span>proved it can blow someone out and stop with the underwhelming production on offense and lack of turnovers.\u00a0 Here is a brief look at the week.<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Oklahoma<\/span>:\u00a0 Pass defense is still a concern and if OU wants to win the conference they will need to outscore their opponents.\u00a0 Baylor, TCU, West Virginia Texas Tech\u00a0and Okla.State will provide exciting nail-biting games for the Sooners and to win three of these five would be acceptable.\u00a0 Win all five and hello Oklahoma to the Final Four. And yes, Kingsbury \u201ckicked Bielema\u2019s ass\u201d with regard to what the Arkansas coach said to the Texas High School Coaches.\u00a0 Good job Red Raiders.<\/h6>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Texas<\/span>:\u00a0 Improvement on offense with Jay Norville running the system.\u00a0 A game that could have been a win.\u00a0 California must be living a good life.\u00a0 Good luck Texas as you are going to get run over in conference.\u00a0 Three wins?<\/h6>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Kansas State<\/span>:\u00a0 Another win. OT losses to a MAC team is not good.\u00a0 I think the powers to be will let ISU Coach Paul Rhoads finish the season.<\/h6>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #800080;\">TCU<\/span>:\u00a0 Defense is an issue.\u00a0 Losing a front line starter in the defensive backfield hurts big time.\u00a0 TCU falls into the Baylor and OU group.
