Oklahoma showed West Virginia the woodshed Saturday night as the Sooners jumped the Mountaineers for a 34-6 halftime spanking and\u00a0 finished off the home team 56-28 when the clock said 0:00.\u00a0 Fact was, OU’s offense was too much for the West Virginia defense as the line play was dominated by the Sooners. As for West Virginia, mistakes were the bug-a-boo as the home team’s miscues were fatal by half.<\/p>\n

The loss finished the Mountaineers in the Big Twelve Conference race with their second defeat.\u00a0 They are now 8-2 and 5-2 with two game left in the season. OU meets Okla. State in Norman on Dec. 3 for the Title.\u00a0 OU is now 9-2 and 8-0 in conference and the Cowboys are 9-2 (10-1 by rules of football) and 7-1 in league play.<\/p>\n
