The biggest game of your school’s season.\u00a0 Your arch rival that you love to hate and you can be there and watch your team win.\u00a0 An opportunity for your team to make significant noise in the landscape of college football.\u00a0 A great opportunity to win the Big Twelve Conference football championship.\u00a0 What more would a football fanatic want?<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

Oklahoma State University gave back (to Oklahoma)\u00a0one thousand tickets allotted them to sell to Poke Nation for them to see their Cowboys play the Sooners in Norman this December.\u00a0 The OSU athletic department was not able to sell those ducats to their supporters.\u00a0 Embarrassing in the least, this non-support by this fan base is not only surprising but an indicator that all is not well in Stillwater and it’s football venture.<\/strong> <\/span><\/h6>\n

Possible reasons for the lack of support:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

  1. \n
    Cowboy fans do not want to be in the stadium to see their Pokes to get blown out<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n
    Cowboy fans do not want to pay the $115 ticket price (for various reasons)<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \n
    Cowboy fans can not stand to sit in the stadium in Norman with Sooner fans<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  4. \n
    Cowboy fans have a lack of interest (the base is weak)<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
  5. \n
    You tell me……..this is really bad<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    As a Bedlam man\u00a0in having my sons attend both OU and OSU, this lack of a supporting\u00a0fan base is puzzling.\u00a0 I will be there to watch the game live, with my OSU son sitting next to me.\u00a0 As I would not miss the game, a red card for OSU’s supporters for this stink.\u00a0 You want to be considered a big time program playing for conference and national\u00a0 honors? Not right now Poke fans. And I wonder what Head Coach Mike Gundy thinks of his fans.\u00a0 LSU, Texas, etc……You know what I mean sports fans.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n
