I will give Oklahoma head football coach Bob Stoops his due when he is right.\u00a0\u00a0On the\u00a0other hand, I will call out the coach when he is wrong.\u00a0 Bob Stoops\u00a0threw his true freshman quarterback Austin Kendall under the bus\u00a0this week and\u00a0it is not anywhere a good thing.\u00a0 From Ryan Aber:<\/p>\n

Bad call Coach Stoops. It was the OU media that got the quote form the quarterback and posted in nationally.\u00a0 Get on your media people at OU, not the young freshman quarterback.\u00a0 If you didn’t want him talking to the in-house OU media, why did you let it happen in the first place?\u00a0 Then jump all over his ass after the fact.\u00a0 After the fact?\u00a0\u00a0 Now you are going to restrict the players from talking to the total media during pregame week?\u00a0 Come on Coach,\u00a0 areyou kidding me?\u00a0 You have been around long enough to\u00a0 know that what you are doing shows an ignorance that is not going to play well.\u00a0\u00a0 If you can’t get your own players and media to say the right things we have a problem that runs deeper than crimson red. It is totally laughable.\u00a0 Wake the f up coach..<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Sooner coach\u00a0slammed\u00a0his quarterback\u00a0<\/span>Austin Kendall after his\u00a0comment<\/a> before the Ohio State game.\u00a0 The backup quarterback had this to say about Ohio State\u2019s defense:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think they have a really basic defense. I think we can go out there and, Baker, he\u2019ll light them up, and I\u2019m really looking forward to it. If my number\u2019s called, I think I can do the same. I\u2019m really looking forward to the game, it should be really exciting.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n
