Oklahoma City or Golden State?\u00a0 As I have written in the past, I believe Kevin Durant will continue for work for the Oklahoma City Thunder and will sign a maximum contract this summer.\u00a0 The five year deal would\u00a0give him less money than signing a one year contract with a player option in 2017-18.\u00a0 With that wait, he could sign a maximum deal at that time for another five years in Oklahoma City with a lot more money, making upwards of $83 million\u00a0extra for the\u00a0superstar.\u00a0 The options of staying in the south plains trump Durant moving his basketball game to the Bay area of California and joining the Warriors as they move to the new arena in San Francisco. Joining Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and the remaining Warriors after a shuffling of the deck and weeding of players there, Durant would be on the most devastating NBA team this side of the Mississippi River, which they are currently.\u00a0 But with KD, the Warriors would be better than the past two Golden State teams, and make them the overwhelming favorite to run the table in the Association for many years.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Durant has a choice, Oklahoma City or Golden State. Either way, he will be playing for a title for many years.\u00a0 I think he will be true to his friends and teammates in OKC.\u00a0 But let us be realistic.\u00a0 Golden State and that set-up would give Durant a better chance at multiple titles than on Reno Street.\u00a0 Loyalty wins out?\u00a0 We will know in a few short weeks.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
