WRONG\u2026..WRONG as WRONG<\/span> can be.\u00a0 The Japanese League is not \u201cMAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL.\u201d\u00a0 Not on your life. The game played in Japan is a high minor league, abet the Pacific Coast League and the American Association in North America.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

As of ESPN, \u201cSuzuki had 1,278 hits for the Orix Buffaloes in Japan\u2019s Pacific League, from 1992 to 2000, and the rest with the Seattle Mariners<\/u><\/a>, New York Yankees<\/u><\/a> and Marlins.\u201d\u00a0 When did Japanese statistics\u00a0begin to mix\u00a0with Major League Baseball statistics\u00a0here in\u00a0North America?\u00a0\u00a0True \u201cMAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL\u201d records should not be combined with minor league stats.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

As of Pete Rose, the true major league baseball player that holds the true major league baseball hits record:<\/h6>\n
\u201cIt sounds like in Japan, they\u2019re trying to make me the Hit Queen,\u201d Rose told USA Today Sports earlier this week. \u201cI\u2019m not trying to take anything away from Ichiro \u2014 he\u2019s had a Hall of Fame career \u2014 but the next thing you know, they\u2019ll be counting his high school hits.<\/span><\/h6>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think you\u2019re going to find anybody with credibility say that Japanese baseball is equivalent to Major League Baseball.
