The mess at Baylor needs some house cleaning and the best way to get the stink off the football program is to shut it down for a minimum of two years.\u00a0 What Baylor has done instead is to bring in a second rate Power Five coach, Jim Grobe (77-82, 13 years at Wake Forest) to run the program for the time being.\u00a0 He was announced as an “interim head coach” by Baylor today.\u00a0 In his final five seasons as the coach of the Demon Deacons, Grobe was fresh out of winning seasons.\u00a0 As of reports, the entire assistant staff of fired coach Art Briles will be retained, including Briles son, Kendal, the offensive coordinator.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

As much as the blame can be forced on Art Briles, Baylor has said to the football world that the “program” will continue with some of the same actors in place, including coaches and\u00a0administration, including faculty advisors,\u00a0making decisions.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

Baylor has\u00a0“failed to properly train and educate their employees, including school officials, officers, investigators, and adjudicators in appropriate response to allegations of sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and retaliatory conduct, as well as necessary Title IX policies and procedures.”\u00a0 http:\/\/www.al.com\/sports\/index.ssf\/2016\/03\/baylor_hit_with_title_ix_lawsu.html<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The measures taking place in Waco will not satisfy those wanting a sweeping house cleaning.\u00a0The coming days will continue to reveal the dirt that has put a significant stain on Baylor.\u00a0 Female abuse through the most\u00a0vile of actions, including the recruitment of bad character people and\u00a0cover up of\u00a0dirty deeds,\u00a0will continue to\u00a0reap ill will toward\u00a0the football team, the university, and the Baptist Church under which Baylor was built for.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

And to repeat, if Baylor was true to the Word, the powers to be would shut this football program down for two years.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n
