As predicted just a week or so ago, Baylor head football coach Art Briles was given his walking papers today by the school that he brought their most success in many years.\u00a0 It was a move that the University had to make to stop the bleeding in Waco, one that will be met with mixed emotions as the football team and it\u2019s run of greatness over the Briles years was something that was held in high esteem. Today, all the good that has been heaped upon the Bear program has crashed into the Brazos River and the program that has challenged for Big Twelve and national honors is trying to find a way to save itself from self-destruction.\u00a0 As with many programs that have been sucking the crap off the bottom of the river for years, Baylor made itself into a powerhouse football program off the \u201cwin-at-all-cost\u201d actions of Briles, something that other programs have done in the history of the game.\u00a0 Briles, with a little common old fashion sense, could have avoided this embarrassment playing the \u201cdo right\u201d card, not the hidden card trick of allowing scumbag players on his team, players that had a history of abuse toward women, and then working his magic of covering up the dirty. Briles is the complete opposite of Kansas State\u2019s wonderful Bill Snyder, who built his program on good family values, a right over wrong way of doing business, and a moralistic way of being the good guy in all situations.\u00a0\u00a0 Briles is done as a football coach and any school that hires him in the future beware. This man is dirty.<\/h5>\n
