One win is great. Two wins even better. But a third win (PGA)\u00a0puts\u00a0<\/span>Rickie Fowler<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>in the highest rated\u00a0group of golfers in the world as the formerOklahoma State University\u00a0<\/span><\/em>star won that 3rd title Labor Day with a masterful back nine to overcome a three shot deficient to beat\u00a0<\/span>Henrick Stenson\u00a0<\/span><\/em>with a 15 under 269 at the\u00a0<\/span>Deutsche Bank Championship\u00a0<\/span><\/em>in Norton, Mass.<\/h4>\n

The win puts Fowler in the 5th spot in the world (and 3rd in the Fed-Ex standings), just a notch behind the\u00a0\u201cTop\u00a03\u2033\u00a0of Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and\u00a0 Jason\u00a0Day.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0With a win at The Players Championship in May and the Scottish Open later, Fowler has finally reached his potential.<\/h4>\n

Explaining his hot finish, Fowler remarked, \u201cbeing in\u00a0those positions before, I definitely felt very calm out there.\u00a0 I knew what I was trying to do. Knew what I had to do. And was very much ready to do it.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

For Fowler, he recognizes his standings in the world with those top 3 ahead of him.<\/h4>\n

\u2018They\u2019ve clearly played the best out of anyone over the past few months to couple of years,\u00a0 so I\u2019m trying to be a small fourth thrown in there. But there\u2019s a lot of other really good young players playing well right now, as well.\u201d<\/h4>\n

Fowler has certainly become a major player in golf and summed up the final round.<\/h4>\n

\u201cI was put in positions where I maybe wasn\u2019t swinging the best and I was able to get the most out of my round that day. Really just hung in there today as well. Put myself in position. Hit some good shots. Made a couple good putts to kind of keep myself in it. It\u2019s pretty special to fight it out the way I did.\u201d<\/h4>\n
