As for the Western Conference of the NBA, Oklahoma City is the most challenging team for Golden State and if the Thunder and the Warriors get to match-up in the playoffs, it will be a tough and tight series.\u00a0 As for Stephen Curry, his shooting performance tonight in OKC was out-of-this-world.\u00a0 I have never seen a better long range gunner than Curry.\u00a0 Better basketball players, yes.\u00a0But shooter? Are you kidding me!<\/span><\/h6>\n

As for the particulars of the game:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. OKC had a great chance to win in regulation but Russell Westbrook made a mistake after the 2nd to last basket and should have called time out and not pass the ball in to Kevin Durant (after the made basket).\u00a0 Durant, double covered should have used the last time out also and not tried to throw a half-court pass that was eventually stolen leading to the\u00a0Warriors last basket to tie the score at 123 and sent the game into overtime.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. The Thunder gained a lot of confidence even in the\u00a0 loss.\u00a0 Don’t think for one minute that the Warriors know that OKC is the team they will have to beat in the Western playoffs to get to the NBA Finals.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. You cannot stop Stephen Curry when he is on.\u00a0He was magnificent tonight.\u00a0The only way to defend the indefensible is to make Curry feel the game through hard but legal plays.\u00a0 Hard fouls, \u00a0hard picks. rough play.\u00a0 \u00a0And that will not be easy as he is a very strong and physical player for his size.\u00a0 Have Russell Westbrook post him up on all occasions if he is guarding number zero.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. OKC had just too many turnovers in the third quarter and\u00a0though they kept a slim lead for\u00a0the most part, they\u00a0cannot have possessions without getting shots.\u00a0 The Thunder, instead of building a lead in that\u00a03rd quarter, lost\u00a0their lead.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Kevin Durant fouled out.\u00a0 That cannot happen.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. OKC dominated the boards and\u00a0Westbrook\u00a0was efficient in getting Steven\u00a0Adams and\u00a0 Enes\u00a0Kanter involved in the offense.\u00a0 More\u00a0is needed.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. As\u00a0a team tonight,\u00a0the Thunder was the Warriors match.\u00a0\u00a0That is good and OKC\u00a0will also be a tough team to beat in the playoffs for Golden State as is the Warriors for OKC.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
