Oklahoma City Thunder:\u00a0 For\u00a0only the third time in seven years I was ready to leave the Peak before the game was over.\u00a0 Disgusted with the coaching of the Thunder staff and\u00a0dismayed with the play of the team on the court, this was a bummer for the home fans.\u00a0 After watching OKC come out\u00a0in the first\u00a0eight plus\u00a0minutes and run the Sacramento Kings into the ground (31-14), the game went south for OKC.\u00a0 Thunder Coach Billy\u00a0Donavan substituted in his second group (except Westbrook)\u00a0while King’s Coach George Karl kept with DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo, his point guard and star\u00a0center.\u00a0 Karl had already brought in two subs for ineffective starters (a nice idea) a few minutes eariler.\u00a0 In the next three minutes and forty eight seconds the Kings went on a 17 point run with starter Cousins dominating the Thunder inside with\u00a0eight points and three boards.\u00a0\u00a0 The Kings were playing with their best players, the Thunder with their bench.\u00a0 Losing a lead like that is not acceptable because of\u00a0a substitute pattern.\u00a0 Donavan had not a clue and Karl ate his lunch when to pull players.\u00a0 That, was in the long of it, the ball game.\u00a0 Yes, Sacramento was dominate for much of the game after that comeback and ran the Thunder out in the 4th quarter.\u00a0 Donavan needs to understand that \u00a0you\u00a0do not pull\u00a0effective (Morrow was on fire)\u00a0players when they are kicking the other team.\u00a0\u00a0When they start to slip, then pull them.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alabama\/Clemson:\u00a0 Everyone thinks that the Tide will win this one\u00a0and are favored to take the\u00a0National Title.\u00a0 Having\u00a0the other two teams in this game, I will stay the course and say we\u00a0will be\u00a0in store for a close defensive game.\u00a0 If any team in the country besides Ole Miss can match up with the superior lines of\u00a0Alabama, it would be Clemson.\u00a0 \u00a0 In a tight squeeze, Clemson 24 and the Tide 20.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Trevor Knight to aTm:\u00a0 The Aggies are dealing with a declining football program and if Knight does start next year, look for a long year in the SEC for them.\u00a0 The fact of the matter is that Knight makes game killing mistakes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Kevin Durant’s sore toe:\u00a0 The Thunder are 3-4 when Durant doesn’t play and he won’t tomorrow night against Memphis.\u00a0 I think the Thunder will bounce back and take this important game.\u00a0 Look for a big game by Westbrook.\u00a0 And please Coach, don’t pull your players to soon.\u00a0 You had Sacramento on the ropes and let them off.<\/p>\n![\"practicereport_160105\"](\"https:\/\/fredsportsextra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/practicereport_160105.jpg\")
