Oklahoma<\/span> and\u00a0Texas Christian University<\/span> get it\u00a0on in Norman Saturday night as the Sooners try to keep the\u00a0Sooner Magic\u00a0chugging along and the Horned Frogs hope to\u00a0pin a second loss on OU and give them an opportunity to get to a major bowl and win the Big 12.\u00a0 TCU’s hopes rest on the health of their two offensive stars, quarterback Trevone Boylin and wide receiver Josh Doctson.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0They are recovering from an ankle (Boykin) and a wrist (Doctson) suffered against Kansas and Okla. State respectfully.\u00a0 If they are limited (or out) the Frogs will be at a significant disadvantage.\u00a0 Both are “questionable” as of today.\u00a0 TCU coach Gary Patterson has said that if both practice by Thursday they will play.<\/h6>\n

Oklahoma’s win over Baylor makes the Sooners the favorite. Both teams have one loss in Big 12 play so the loser is out for a title in the conference.\u00a0 For TCU to win they must put the clamps on the Sooner passing game.\u00a0 Against Okla. State they failed and the Sooners will present another challenge for the TCU secondary.\u00a0 OU ran the ball on Baylor and if they\u00a0run the same against the Frogs it will a long night for the Purple.\u00a0 I picked against OU last week.\u00a0 I will not\u00a0this week.\u00a0 Sooners win around 41 to 28.<\/h6>\n

The other big game in the conference is Baylor<\/span> coming to Stillwater to face the Oklahoma State<\/span> Cowboys.\u00a0 If the Bears come in with their full compliment of players including their freshman quarterback it should be a close one touchdown game either way.\u00a0 Baylor is a beat up team right now and OSU is coming off a sub par performance at Iowa State.\u00a0 The stakes are big for the Pokes and I will take OSU 47 to 41.\u00a0 But don’t think I do not respect the Bears. I could see a big win for Baylor and it would not surprise me in the least.<\/h6>\n

Notre Dame<\/span> gets enough of the Jesuits this week as Boston College <\/span>pulls the upset\u00a0in Fenway Park.\u00a0 This is a rival game for BC and they will be ready.\u00a0 Notre Dame is looking forward to Stanford in this trap game.\u00a0 Stanford<\/span> and Cal<\/span> is a possible upset special but I just can’t pull the trigger on this one. But it will be close.\u00a0 V<\/span>anderbilt<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span> will take the Texas Aggies<\/span> in a mild surprise.\u00a0 Look for LSU<\/span>‘s Les Miles hot seat get hotter as they go down to Ole<\/span>\u00a0Miss<\/span> in a not so close game.\u00a0 And finally, Michigan State<\/span> goes to the Horseshoe to face the Buckeyes.\u00a0 It might be the game of the day and Ohio State<\/span> plays their best game and wins close.<\/h6>\n
