DORT, JOE, WIGS GONE for 2026-2027?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Not happy with the loss to the Spurs, but the Thunder gave it their all, and it was not to be the year to repeat.\u00a0 With the injuries to Ajay Mitchell and Jalen Williams,\u00a0 the team\u2019s consistency on offense not up to snuff, and a lack of not getting the right combinations on the floor in the SAS series, were drawbacks for this edition of the team on Reno Street.\u00a0 Do not blame Mark Daigneault<\/strong> as he worked his lineups the best he could see fit. Maybe a little more scoring punch and getting Chet more involved would have helped. Sure, the fans and Thunder Nation did not like how the big guy played in Game 7, but it was not his fault entirely.\u00a0 Next year will bring another chase for the Larry O\u2019Brien Trophy.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n

Look for some changes in the roster in 2026-2027.\u00a0 Sam Presti will work his magic, and I have no problem with what he will do this summer.\u00a0 Personally speaking, I know that he will construct a team in the Association, with the Spurs, the Celtics, the Knicks, and, surprise, the Pacers as the other contenders for a championship in 2027.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
