From personal experience, the number of seats in the new arena is not an issue for me but it could be for others if they are not a season ticket holders for the Thunder.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Since the first game of the first season for the team on Reno Street in downtown OKC, I have had my butt secured in Loud City, possessing the cheapest, yet, for me, the most desired seat in the venue. now named the Paycom Center. With a view down the baseline, a point that is elevated in my Section, 315, four seats into the section, to avoid any visual obstructions, I can get into the games in my own personal way.\u00a0 I am always comfortable with the chosen spot. Row D is situated with elevation over the first three rows, with the people sitting just below me, in Row C, never restricting my view.\u00a0 This elevation allows me to use my eye glasses as I always have them with me during the games. I love my seat and would not change it for \u201cbetter\u201d seats, as of cost and other particulars, such as concessions and rest rooms, being just a hop, skip and jump down the exit. And with that, I am good.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Yet knowing that the new arena will have me moving to a new spot in the new place, I know that I will be one of the first season ticket holders given a choice of location as of priority of being a first year season ticket holder.\u00a0 No worry about the lowering number of seats in the new new venue. I will consider moving to a closer seat to the floor, but I will not necessarily do that.\u00a0 But for new season ticket holders, that might not be the case, as the Thunder will limit the number of season ticket holders, as all seats are not for season tickets.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

For some games, tickets on the secondary market might me harder to get along with a much higher cost attend.\u00a0 Less seats make issues with getting in.\u00a0 \u00a0Come playoff time, all tickets come with a much higher prices for non-season ticket holders.\u00a0 For example,\u00a0 I sold one of my Finals tickets this season for a profit for and also for Ticketmaster, the official secondary ticket retailer for the Thunder. My ticket cost me $100, for which I listed it for $1250, which I personally made a profit of $1150, minus $60 or so for Ticketmaster\u2019s fee.\u00a0 \u00a0And Ticketmaster sold my seat on their site for around $2200, giving the buyer for the ticket a hefty charge to buy the seat for the game.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

With a lower number of seats in the new place, my seat\u2019s value goes up. Yes, I know my season ticket will cost more, and that is good with me. Thunder up folks\u2026\u2026 and the cost of attending a game will, in time, get more expensive.\u00a0 That is par for the course when you have the best team in the world just down the street.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n
