Another 10 win season in 2024 would be nice and Sooner Nation would not be so hesitant to take head coach Brent Venable\u2019s 2nd three loss year in a bad way.\u00a0 As the team goes from the easiest schedule to the most difficult in their history, OU\u2019s move could be seen as a road filled with \u201cL\u2019s\u201d after the first non-conference games come Fall.\u00a0 Or the wins could be chalked up with significant wins over teams like Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Texas, Mississippi, and Missouri.\u00a0 Right now, the former schedules where the Sooners often were favorites in every game they played in a year, is history.\u00a0 A season that could end 6-6 would not be out of the question, but with a some breaks and huge improvement in player development and coaching, OU could be on the brink of a historic winning 2023.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #5e1818;\"><em><span style=\"color: #5e1818;\">It will be determined if the move to the SEC will be positive in the next couple of seasons for OU.\u00a0 For sure, the money that the change will bring is assured.\u00a0 Now will the win\/loss record be worth it?\u00a0 I would say yes, without hesitation. Will Coach Venables still be the head man, say in five years?\u00a0 That is a much more difficult question to answer.\u00a0 Losing is not tolerated in Norman, ever.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
