I enjoyed my first cup about the time I became the Principal of Lee Elementary in 1998. I was 45 years old. Today, at age 69, I drink between seven and ten large cups a day, beginning with my first one within fifteen minutes after I get up in the morning. Retired, that could be anywhere from 6:00 am to noon, but usually around eight thirty or so. I did not drink coffee for the majority of my lifetime because I really did not like the taste and the need for caffeine and sugar was supplied mostly by soda pop.
