Willie Wonka says Mayfield for Heisman
It was as if TCU’s Gary Patterson had enough of the Oklahoma Sooners midway through the third quarter as his Horn Frogs deemed it necessary to play conservative and to the vest after falling behind by three touchdowns and three two point conversations. The “no” risk taking coach folded shop once OU took a huge lead and did not challenge the once sieve prone defense of the Sooner past. The men of Norman ran out the final quarter in a good old Big Twelve godstomping, 41-17. The Big Red of the South punched their “Golden Ticket” to the Willy Wonka Final Four of college football. Baker Mayfield took his own personal “Golden Ticket” and punched it too, that being the ticket to the oompa loompa Heisman Trophy. The Frogs got crushed like Godstoppers in a child’s jaw.
