Baker Mayfield takes the spoils of college football warfare……

Baker Mayfield gets revenge from last the loss last year-https://www.elevenwarriors.com

Last night the Oklahoma Sooners not only beat the devil out of one of the greatest college football programs in history, their quarterback and leader, Baker Mayfield, rammed the Big Red colors into the large Ohio State “O” at midfield after the bushwhacking.  In the many years and hundreds of games the Buckeyes have hosted their opponents into the “Horseshoe” Stadium, never has a “enemy”  been so totally disrespectful toward The Ohio State University in “their” home and on “their” hallowed ground.  And to my last drop of Oklahoma blood, sweat, and piss, I say to Baker, “thank you” for your actions.  The big old great university of the Big Ten was destroyed last night in a game that will not be one to be forgotten, in Oklahoma, and especially in Ohio. (and I am sure Baker Mayfield is today, the most popular man on two college campuses, the one in Norman and the one in Ann Arbor)

To Ohio State and the Bucknuts Nation, thanks for the memories.

  1. The disrespect began last year on our turf. Although I myself enjoyed Mayfields payback to Ohio I see how some could say it went too far. However, nothing was hurt except buckeye fans pride. They could dish it out but couldn’t take it…..oh well. BOOMER SOONER!!

  2. the fact is that OU owns Ohio State in Columbus on that field….just as Ohio State owns OU in Norman on Owen Field….it is what it is……but the way Baker put that flag into that turf….priceless…and it did not even stick in that rug….Boomer.

  3. If you want to talk about disrespect, you should begin with the droves of “fans” leaving halfway through the 4th quarter. The only people left in the stadium were OU fans, or members of the band, and football staff. I guarantee you didn’t see that mass migration to the exits last year in Norman!

  4. Great point David. I did not walk out of Gaylord Family until the final gun. Nor did 85k Sooner fans. But I will tell you that down in Dallas, the losing side of a blow out between OU and Texas goes home early. Very early. You know it and I know it.
